Licensed & insured in NY · 24/7 dispatch
Halo Water Proofing is a NY-licensed Basement Waterproofing company that treats every Hempstead job like it's the only one on the schedule.
We don't run a bidding war between crews. The Hempstead technician who inspects your property is the same one who does the repair, start to finish.
Our Hempstead crew leads carry years of hands-on repair experience, not just sales training — which is why the advice you get on-site tends to match what actually needs fixing.
One phone call gets you a straight answer and a real appointment — not a vague callback promise.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Water problems build slowly before they become emergencies. These are the clues our Hempstead crews hear about most.
Odor is often the very first clue Hempstead homeowners notice, well before any water is visible.
A crack that wasn't there last year is worth a look before it becomes an active leak point.
That white powder on basement walls is mineral residue left behind as water passes through the concrete.
If your pump only shuts off for a few minutes at a time, it's worth having it checked before it fails outright.
This is one sign we tell Hempstead customers never to wait on — wall movement tends to progress, not resolve on its own.
Flooring that's cupping near an exterior wall often traces straight back to a basement moisture issue below.
From a 2 a.m. sump pump failure to a planned exterior drainage project, here's what our Hempstead crews handle most.
When water shows up fast, we move fast — extraction, drying equipment, and a plan to stop it from happening again.
Get Emergency Help →Not every crack means a structural problem, but every crack deserves a real look. We'll tell you which kind yours is.
Ask About Crack Repair →Already have a pump that's struggling? We'll test it honestly and tell you whether it needs replacing or just a tune-up.
Book a Pump Check →Some Hempstead properties need both systems working together — we'll say so honestly instead of selling just one.
Talk Drainage Options →A damp Hempstead crawl space drives up humidity throughout the house — we seal it completely with heavy-duty vapor barrier and add dehumidification where needed.

Request a Commercial Quote →No pressure, no scripts — just what actually happens once you call +1-866-476-1348.
A real technician asks the right questions to understand what's likely happening at your Hempstead property before anyone drives out.
A Hempstead technician walks the property, checks the foundation and drainage, and explains what's found in plain language.
No verbal number that quietly grows once the truck pulls up — the written quote is the final word.
You get documentation of the work plus a real warranty — not just a handshake.
Plenty of companies advertise Basement Waterproofing in Hempstead — here's what actually separates the ones worth calling from the ones that aren't.
You get a real number before any work starts — what you approve is what you're billed.
A local dispatch model means the technician who answers your questions is the same one who shows up.
Warranty terms are explained in plain language before you sign, with no fine-print surprises later.
We'd rather earn a repeat Hempstead customer with an honest fix than push a system you don't need.
Filing a claim can be confusing — we've walked Hempstead customers through this process many times.
Word of mouth is still how most Hempstead customers find us, which keeps our standards high.
"Woke up to a wet basement and had someone out by mid-morning. No pressure, no upsell, just fixed it."
"Fair price, on time, cleaned up after. Wish every contractor worked this way."
"Our sump pump died during the worst storm of the year, obviously. Battery backup was installed the next day and we haven't worried since."
"Straightforward commercial quote, professional crew, no back and forth."
"French drain install took two days exactly as quoted, and the yard looked better than before."
"Insurance claim was stressful until they stepped in with photos and a written scope. Approved within a week."
"Sump pump inspection was thorough and they didn't try to sell me a new one when mine just needed a part replaced."
Every Hempstead technician we send is background-checked and trained on the systems we install, so the crew that inspects your property is the same one that fixes it.
